Fellow Impulse Evo E-Bike the Kalkhoff Integrale 10 was named Test Winner in this month’s ExtraEnergy awards, but the Include Premium also picked up a Very Good badge in both this category and the Comfort Pedelec category.
A high-endurance all-rounder with a well-balanced drive system and well-matched components. The Include Premium earned itself two “Very Good” verdicts – as an easy pedelec and as a city-comfort pedelec.
The Include from Kalkhoff was the only pedelec in this test to break the 100 km range barrier on the Tour circuit. It achieved this thanks to a large battery and a harmonious assist system which, in the hills, challenges the rider so you need to contribute spirited peddling too.
The belt drive Impulse Evo motor and Nexus hub gear make a good team and, thanks to a pause ind assistance for gear changes, the Nexus shifts positively and without graunching in all ride conditions, even under load.
The ride quality of the Include was praised as exceptional by all test riders. Particularly impressive was the stability of the Trapez frame, which has its rear dropouts neatly designed to match the carrier rack.
Frame, lock and battery are also very successfully integrated. The Include’s display is very legible and easy to operate. A solid stand, internal cable routing and good lighting are also, of course, present and correct.
In short the top-class pedelec, but one which comes at a price.
