We'll be at the Cycle Show for the first time since 2004 and we're offering £5 off the ticket price.The latest Kalkhoff models will be on show at stand D2c so come on down, check them out, have a chat and take away a brochure. We'll be offering a Yakkay helmet and cover of your choice to a lucky visitor as well.
Next door to the 50cycles stand will be our display of Univega bikes (D2cc). We're re-launching this renowned brand after a long absence. Univega mountain and road bikes are produced in the same factory as our Kalkhoff electrics, so quality and value are assured. The Univega website will also be fully launched on the first day of the exhibition.
Cycle Show 2008 is at the Earl's Court Exhibition Centre between 9th & 12th October. The 9th is reserved for trade and press visitors but it's open to the general public from Friday.

Scarborough Urban Downhill 2008

'Displays from all the UK's top suppliers and see the latest bikes on display. There will be trade stands so you can buy some goodies or check out whats hot for next year. Practice starts at 9am until late afternoon. The seeding runs start at 4pm. This is where the riders race at full speed down the course, this is to decide the starting order for the race. Racing starts at 7pm with one race run down the course every second counts with the rider was the fastest time will race and share of the prize money pot split the boys and girls.' Bike Week 2008

Come and see us at our new premises during Bike Week. We'll be open all week as usual, from 9am to 5pm, for bike demonstrations and test rides, with Saturday opening for the first time on 21st June. Staff will be cycling to and from work and we're planning an Electric Bikes Tour of Loughborough.
This ride, starting at noon on Friday 21st June will be open to anyone of any cycling ability or age. The 50cycles team will lead anyone who wishes to join us on an hour long tour of Loughborough. The ride is also open to riders on conventional cycles, tricycles, unicycles, recumbents - anything on one or more wheels that does not depend on fossil fuels. Come and join the fun!
