ElektroRad magazine (Feb 2011) called the Kalkhoff Pro Connect S a "masterpiece" that "delivers a fast, agile, proven drive, huge range". This new Sports class electric bike uses the Deore XT derailleur system and Magura hydraulic brakes. The new high power Panasonic motor system is programmed for high-speed commuters and touring cyclists, with higher gearing and peak power at a much higher cadence. Finally, Kalkhoff's new 2011 18Ah battery pack gives 80% more range than the older 10Ah battery.
Very little has changed between the 2011 version and the 2012 version - same power, performance but with a different paint-job and forks. The 2011 comes in all over jet black - we now have one left in stock in the 55cm frame size.
