Warranty
Standard cover free
Kalkhoff bikes and batteries are covered by the manufacturer's own 2-year warranty. Aside from general cycle maintenance, work should be carried out by 50cycles technical team or authorised dealer.
In the case of eZee bikes we agree to provide replacement parts and labour to correct faults covered by the warranty for one year from the date of delivery. This does not cover accidental damage or wear and tear or batteries. If your bike breaks down after 14 days of ownership and needs to come into our repair shop you must return the bicycle to us or bear the cost of the return, unless you have upgraded the warranty by purchasing one of our Extended Warranty products that covers the cost of collection.
The eZee Lithium battery pack is covered by a separate six month warranty.
Kalkhoff's Panasonic battery pack has a two year warranty.
50cycles Kalkhoff Extended Warranties
All Kalkhoff pedelec bikes (the Agattu, Pro Connect and Tasman) are covered by a two-year manufacturer's warranty on both the bicycle and the battery. This means that if a fault develops within that two-year period Kalkhoff agree to supply parts to us in order for us to repair your bike.
The bicycle may need to return to our workshop for some work to commence so we now offer extended cover that includes collection and return of your bicycle as often as is required throughout the warranty period. We also offer an additional year of cover for those who want longer term peace of mind.
Collect and return for 2 years £200
For two years from the date of delivery, if we agree that your bike needs to return to our workshop, we will collect your bicycle and return it to you once the work has been completed.

Collect and return for 3 years including 1-year warranty extension £300
For three years from the date of delivery, if we agree that your bike needs to return to our workshop, we will collect your bicycle and return it to you once the work has been completed.
This option also extends the warranty cover on the bicycle for one additional year i.e. we will carry the cost of parts supplied by the manufacturer outside their own warranty period. The additional year of cover does not include the battery pack as these are sold with a lifetime of two years. However, your battery pack may remain operationally useful for more than two years.
