Sales and Support Superstar for Fast-Growing Electric Bike Leader
We’re a leading player in the fastest-growing segment of the bicycle market. We have showrooms in four locations and there is now a sales vacancy in our busy Loughborough headquarters.
Our electric bikes are premium products that attract a very wide range of customers – young and old, experienced cyclists as well as those looking to ride a bike for the first time in years.
This is not a hard-sell business. Your job will be to confirm what each customer hopes our bikes will do for them and build a totally convincing case for owning one. You’ll soon become an expert at matching customers to the right bike and accessories for their requirements.
We’re growing fast, we’re taking more people on to meet demand and provide the best service. We have many repeat customers and word-of-mouth recommendations and this is as much down to the efforts of our staff as the quality of products. This season is sure to be our busiest yet, so we’re keen to find roles for the right person.
Your skills and experience
You should be someone with a winning personality who can instil trust and confidence, and you’ll grow to become an impressive representative of our company and our brands.
You should enjoy cycling and you will, ideally, have skills and knowledge that allow you to respond to technical enquiries with confidence.
A good level of literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE or equivalent grades A-C in English, Maths, etc), a methodical approach, IT skills compatible with online and cloud applications, as well as a presentable appearance and responsible attitude are all definite requirements.
Experience of carrying out bicycle builds and pre-delivery inspections is desirable, as is the ability to deliver all aspects of bicycle servicing and maintenance. Cytech qualification would be great but technical training will be given.
In return, we’ll train you to work with all our systems, perfect your product knowledge and develop sales skills that see you first hitting and then exceeding your targets.
There will be a basic salary of £16,000 and commission on sales giving on-target earnings of £24,000 per annum. Staff discounts are available.
Our hours are 9:30am – 5:30pm weekdays in Loughborough.
