Position: Sales Superstars for Fast-Growing Electric Bike Leader
Salary: £16,000 basic + commissions, £24,000 OTE
We’re a leading player in the fastest-growing segment of the bicycle market. We have showrooms in four locations and there are now Sales vacancies in our Bristol, Loughborough and South West London branches.
Our electric bikes are premium products that attract a very wide range of customers – young and old, experienced cyclists and people looking to ride a bike for the first time in years, those who’ve thoroughly researched the market and those who are looking into it for the first time.
This is not a hard-sell business, it’s about confirming what customers hope about our bikes by building a totally convincing case for owning one. You’ll soon become expert at matching customers to the right bike and accessories for their requirements, following the order through to completion and with high quality after sales assistance. We have many repeat customers and word-of-mouth recommendations and this is as much down to the efforts of our staff as the quality of products.
We’re growing fast, we’re taking more people on to meet demand and provide the best service. This season is sure to be our busiest yet, so we’re keen to find roles for the right person at each location.
Your skills and experience
You should be someone with a winning personality who can instil trust and confidence, growing to become an impressive representative of our company and our brands. You should enjoy cycling and you will, ideally, have technical skills and knowledge that allow you to respond to enquiries with confidence.
A good level of literacy and numeracy (e.g. GCSE or equivalent grades A-C in English, Maths, etc), a methodical approach, IT skills compatible with online and cloud applications, as well as a presentable appearance and responsible attitude, are all definite requirements.
Experience of carrying out bicycle builds and pre-delivery inspections is desirable, as is the ability to deliver all aspects of bicycle servicing and maintenance. Cytech qualification would be great but technical training will be given.
In return, we’ll train you to work with all our systems, perfect your product knowledge and develop sales skills that see you first hitting and then exceeding your targets.
There will be a basic salary of £16,000 and commission on sales giving on-target earnings of £24,000 per annum. Staff discounts are available. Our hours are 9:30am – 5:30pm and we would like you to work on some or all Saturdays.
